Teresa
Meet Teresa she is a young, smaller pit bull mix in search of a forever home. Teresa has had a tough life, she came to the shelter from Los Angeles after being saved from euthanasia. Her leg was fractured when she arrived at the shelter but after multiple surgeries she is on her way to a full recovery. We know very little about her history before she arrived, but given her condition upon her arrival and her severe fear of strangers, kids and objects, it was probably very rough:( She is doing much better now, thanks to her loving foster family. She is able to play, walk on a leash and seems to have gained more confidence.
She is very loving and playful but does need time to warm up to people before she trusts fully. She loves other dogs and after months with her foster family has finally learned how to play! She does still have a fear of children so she needs to be in a home with no children under 13. She is in foster care so if you are interested in Teresa please email emanimalhosp@aol.com. She will make an amazing companion for someone, she has so much love and joy to share she just needs a chance and after what she has been through she deserves one. (Her adoption fee is 179 and includes her spay, DA2PPV, Rabies, Bordetella, Frontline, dewormer and microchipping)

About Us:
Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue began in 2010 with a single rescue dog named Sunny Sky. Sunny was discovered by the doctor on a euthanasia list at a shelter in L.A., he was described as being a small chihuahua in desperate need of a home. Dr. Berton immediately rushed to save this little guy and found a not so little guy who was in need of more than just a good home. Lucky for Sunny the doctor fell in love just the same and decided to dedicate all of her spare time and funding to rescuing as many animals as she could. What began as a good deed soon spiraled into a full fledged rescue with its own rescue team equipped with a city bus! Now with the help of volunteers and many kind-hearted benefactors we are now on our saving hundreds of dogs and cats a year.
